The Sita Maxi Dress in Violet has been lovingly and mindfully hand-crafted using beautiful hand block printed fabric. This flattering feminine silhouette adorned with hand-placed florals features an elasticated scoop neckline finished with a self-adjustable tie at the bust, elasticated sleeves, and a captivating floor length tiered design bringing the vibrant violet hues to life.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. This style is fully lined.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

This dress is beautiful. I love the style. Sadly, for me, the size I needed for the chest area also meant it was just too long for my 5'3" frame. Hemming it would have ruined the lines. So, I am having to return it. However, on the bright side, I will now be able to choose another gorgeous dress with my store credit.

I am not keen on it to be honest. So overpriced for what it is. Photographs makers garments look amazing but I think the photographs are misleading as you bathe the pictures in light which makes the fabric look totally different colour. The violet dress above does NOT have a white background - and yet in the picture it does. I am very disappointed but will not send back because of the cost and the miscommunication when I sent the last one back. Sorry to say I do not recommend Daughters of India. Overpriced garments !

Nothing serious but I find I move between a medium and a large… maybe some indication of slim fit, regular fit or generous fit would help. I know your return policy is great… but I’m happy to live with it being a little larger then expected..
